Fruit juice concentrates and pulp elaboration process

Evaluated

The fruit received is evaluated to determine if it fulfills the quality specifications for their acceptance or rejection.

Stored

If accepted, it is stored until further processing.

Pre-washed

Before starting the process, the fruit is pre-washed following our quality and food safety policies.

Selected

Subsequently, the fruit is carefully selected in line following a quality protocol.

Brushing and Washing

The selected fruit continues to a final brushing and washing process.

Extraction

The fruit is directed to the extraction area, where the pulp is separated from the seeds and peel.

Centrifugation

The extracted pulp continues to the centrifugation area, where impurities or solid matter is removed to reach customers specification upon request.

Pasteurization

Afterwards, the product is subjected to a pasteurization process, to eliminate microorganisms without changing the composition and characteristics of the product.

Concentrate

If required to obtain a product with a higher ºBrix, we proceed to concentrate the pulp in evaporators. If not, we proceed with the next step.

Filled, Stored, Dispatch

The pasteurized product becomes immediately filled in the packaging required by the customer (plastic pouches, plastic pails or metal drums) and stored in the cold stores until its subsequent dispatch.
